Drafting documents, summarizing records, and reviewing contracts, the tasks where legal AI took hold first, are exactly the work of entry-level paralegals and compliance staff, so those jobs shrink first. There's no licensing protection, and only graduates who go on to law school enter a path to bar admission, which comes a little later.
