An EMT or paramedic spends a shift responding to emergency calls, assessing a patient on scene often in a messy or crowded setting, and lifting and carrying them safely into the ambulance. AI is starting to help behind the scenes with dispatch triage and paperwork, but the physical, on-scene part isn't going anywhere soon.
Why does EMS hold up so much longer than most health majors?
