Even if telematics and AI cut down on fault-finding, replacing heavy-truck engines, brakes, and axles and repairing heavy equipment on site remain heavy hands-on work. No license is required, but a nationwide shortage props up hiring, and the other mechanic jobs graduates take also shrink late.
