If AI takes over preparing teaching materials, sermon prep and administration, churches on tight budgets may start by hiring fewer unordained junior ministers and Christian education coordinators. Leading youth groups, retreats and pastoral visits remain human work. Cuts from declining church membership are separate from AI.
