Leading a platoon and running field training after commissioning as a second lieutenant remain human work, and reorganizing units around unmanned systems moves only on the defense planning cycle. Intelligence and administrative staff work shrinks first. Billet cuts driven by shrinking troop numbers are separate from AI.
