AI already produces sketches, renderings, concept variations, and 3D prop assets, so junior production work shrinks first. But judging prototypes and balancing engineering with aesthetics remain human work, so the decline comes later than for purely on-screen design. Graduates heading into UX/UI or 3D work will feel the pressure sooner.
