Inspection and HACCP record-keeping, the first jobs most new bachelor's hires land, are the first to shrink as AI vision and automated logging take over. But sampling, deciding whether to hold a shipment, and work on wet factory floors stay with people, and the legal duty to appoint quality managers and the pace of plant equipment investment slow the decline.
